Clackamas Forced Release Data
Clackamas also publishes a Forced Release Dashboard. It reports aggregate monthly and yearly totals, trends, average stay, intake, average daily population, associated charge categories, and recidivism by gender. It does not name people and cannot answer who left the jail today.
The dashboard supplies local context for releases made under the county capacity plan. The sheriff states that forced release does not dismiss charges. A person remains responsible for court dates and release conditions. To verify that one named person received that disposition, request the individual jail transaction instead of drawing a conclusion from a dashboard total.
Clackamas Released Versus Transferred
A Clackamas County Jail release record can show more than one result. Security, recognizance, sentence completion, or a court order may lead to the community.
